NEW ELECTRONIC PRESCRIBING SERVICE
BROOK GREEN SURGERY now has a great new service: we are associated with local pharmacies and it is now possible for patients to obtain their prescription medicines direct from the pharmacies without the need to collect a paper prescription from the Practice. IT IS ALSO POSSIBLE TO CANCEL APPOINTMENTS
Starting w/c 1st February 2016 the Walk-in Clinic will be on Tuesday and Friday morning. Please come and book in at reception between 8.15-8.30am.
These appointments cannot be booked in advance and work on a first-come firstserved basis.
They are meant for brief consultations or recent illnesses. Patients who come during these times will* be seen but may have to wait.(*If there is overwhelming demand you might be asked to await a later phone call from the doctor).
Following patient feedback we have recently done some work to update facilities at the surgery. The entrance to the building has been redecorated and better lighting installed. The patient toilet has also been redecorated and the woodwork around the sink replaced. We have also installed some windowboxes at the front of the building and have been very pleased with all the positive feedback we have received about this.
We welcome all patient feedback and if you would be interesteded in getting involved then please sign up for our Virtual Patient Group. This group is only contacted by email and has been fundamental in identifying priority areas for change and improvement. THE PATIENT PARTNER TELEPHONE BOOKING SYSTEM CONTRACT HAS COME TO AN END AND A DECISION HAS BEEN TAKEN NOT TO RENEW THIS CONTRACT AT THIS TIME UNLESS A MORE COST EFFECTIVE AND EFFICIENT SYSTEM IS IDENTIFIED BY THE CCG
MANY PATIENTS ARE NOW USING THE ONLINE BOOKING SYSTEM WHICH HAS HAD EXCELLENT FEEDBACK.
